TDC Weekend

Well here we are...at the Truck Driving Championship in Billings, Montana. Aaron didn't do as well as he'd of liked to...I feel bad for him. I think he did great. He hauled doubles, (2 trailers) and got 3rd place in the compititon. Last year he just pulled 1 trailer and got 2nd. I thought he did well. He got a high score in the pre-trip inspection and did well in the oral and written exams. Hey, it's a fully paid weekend. Gorgeous hotel suite, free food, mileage, an incredibly fast internet connection...can't beat that right?! We've had a nice time away together. We needed it. Don't get me wrong, love my kids, more than anything. But, everyone needs a break from routine and those they love once in a while right? We called Tiger last night, he was having a lot of fun with G'ma and G'pa. Talked to Lexi in Corvallis too. She's with Munga for a wedding and high school graduation. She is having a great time, as well and being spoiled silly by "Auntie" Tracie...mother of 6 boys. I was able to go shopping and to lunch with an old friend, (Kendra) and it was very nice to see her. Will do a little more shopping tomorrow before we head back home. Thanks Thres for taking care of my house and the Brown Family Zoo. You're awesome...wait 'till you see what I got you as a "thanks".
