Today in my life...

Well hello there, here I am. Nothing really to write, but as requested I will ramble about whatever.
My creative juices have nearly dried up. I am almost finished with the re-decorating of my kitchen. I had registered for and received many apple themed things for our wedding. So, going with that, I have re-decorated in apples to match and have nearly gone bananas in the process. I painted the walls in a sort of apple-flesh color. On the paint sample I got from the store, it is with some peachy colors. But, is so faintly peach, you would never know. Anyway, I then couldn't find and apple stamp to make my border, so I made my own. Which I must say turned out darn good. Then I decided that having plain, whole apples was a little...well, plain. So I scattered a few that appear to be sliced in half and it looks much better. I'm so thrilled with it. I want everyone to come by and tell me how cute they think it looks...or so I would hope you all would think.
My kids are good. Still battling end-of-season colds, but nothing we can't handle with a little echinacea, C and zinc with a splash of Triaminic at bedtime.
My neighbors are also well. My kids play with most of them, (the ones their age anyway) when they are bored with me, (which is often since I have been painting). I am blessed to live in a tiny community where everyone knows each other and all our kids play pretty well together and watch out for each other.
Get to go to Missoula/Hamilton this weekend, "just girls" as Lexi would say. My mom, sister and her little girl are going with us for a baby shower. We get to stay a night and do some shopping as well. Will be a fun time and nice to get away fo a bit. Lexi and David really need a break from each other. I suppose we all need a break from those around us from time to time.
Hope you are all well. I'll try to be better about writing. And maybe I can get the picture thing figured out so I can "show" those of you far from me my cute kitchen.

Ciao'

I think I'm pretty nearly back...

Well, went to the Dr. Thursday and got quite an earfull. I was having a lot of lower ab pain, (especially when he PUSHED on it!). So he ordered an ultrasound. Wow, did I feel EMPTY and HOLLOW after that process. I've only ever had ultrasounds to sneek a peek at my growing babies. To see things in there so empty was very alien to me. Anyway, found out what the pain was. I have a large, (2") "simple" cyst on my right ovary. These usually go away on their own, so thankfully it is unlikely that I will need surgery. He thought that I was also having a miscarriage, but after a blood test (and waiting ALL afternoon to hear results) I found it was negative. Thank God! Aaron and I had a miscarriage very early in our relationship and it was so emotionally painful. Didn't want to endure that again. The Dr. ordered taking 4 ibuprophen 3 X's a day until Monday, when he wants me to call and check-in. I'm really feeling much better.
Is a nice sunny day, I think we get to rake the yard today...oooh boy! Come on over and join in on all that fun if you'd like! Ha, ha!

I'm still breathing...

ugh. I'm still in my slump, although I do believe I see the light at the end of the tunnel. I have to go to the Dr. on Thursday AM. I have this nagging feeling something is wrong with me. I've been having some unusual "female" problems and pains....not too sure what that means. Thought I'd better go have it checked out. Went to church on Sunday, haven't been in a couple of weeks. Surely felt good to go back, see everyone and listen to my wonderful pastor. He's so great, very down-to-earth and easy to listen to, (I tend to have a VERY short attention span) I'm so glad I went. Made me feel much better, seemed as thought the sun was shining a little brighter on the drive home.
Thanks for the support, positive energy and prayers my friends, you're the greatest.

Snap out of it already!

Boy I'm depressed. For those of you who know me personally, you know that I am a very bubbly, happy, energetic person. For those of you who don't...I am. It has just been a terrible week. I feel very alone and hollow and I just can't shake it. I exercise 3-4 X's a week at the local 'Y', that should help right....uh, no. Tried going for a couple of walks around my neighborhood, with the wind in my face and the birds chirping happily and...nope. Still sapping. What is the deal? Do I need a good cry? Do I need a good "shag"? Maybe I should sock someone. Aargh! Help!
