Forgot to update ya'all

2 days before Christmas Lexi lost her 2 front teeth!!! I can't believe I forgot to tell you all. She looks SOOOO cute tooth-less! Currently having 3 missing for a total of 5 lost and 1 more loose! (She totally looks cross-eyed in the picture! She was looking at the light on the camera.)

MOMS Craft Club

This is what I made yesterday, a French Memory Board. It is for holding notes, pictures, whatever really. I thought it turned out really well. I wish you could see how pretty this fabric is. I just love it! It was SO easy...if anyone wants to know how, give me a holla'!

SHE blesses MY heart...

...my Lexi...I know I've spoken of her tender, 5-year-old heart before. Today at dinner I saw my "hard work" come to life. She was talking about a class-mate and how nice her mom is. (I guess the mom had given Lexi, Rachel's phone number so Lexi could call her one day.) Lexi said, "Ya know mom, she's really nice, she really blesses my heart." It was so sweet. Then she started talking about Abraham Lincoln and how nice a man her was and said the same about him. "He blesses my heart too mom, he was a good man."
What a great kid I have!

Loss of Another Great Man

My Unlce Don Larson passed away yesterday afternoon. Happy Friggin' New Year! He has battled cancer for many years and was finally taken by a bought of pnumonia that he just couldn't beat. He was a great guy. Very funny. Always ready with a joke or a jab, making everyone in the room roar with laughter. He was my maternal grandmother's youngest brother. The 4th of 4 taken by cancer. My Aunt Ginny is the last one left of the Larson clan and she just had a malignant tumor removed 2 weeks ago. She will start cancer treatment soon. It's a terrible thing, that cancer demon. Seems to run rampid on my mother's side. Anyway, rest in peace my dear Uncle...until we meet again, keep those angels laughing!
